I am deeply honoured to be returning to The Yoga Weekend as a teacher of The Daring Way™. Body love is a subject many of us wrestle with, and it can be immensely personal and painful to talk about. We’re bombarded with messages telling us to augment, purchase, and shrink into a standard deemed “desirable” so that we can feel as though we’re enough. Over time, we can adopt these messages as our own—hiding, judging and rejecting ourselves to cope.
Together, we’ll begin to:
- Improve our relationships to our bodies
- Trust we have given our inner critic enough attention
- Learn strategies to change the narrative and embrace body love
Guided by the work of Dr. Brené Brown and her 15+ years of experience researching vulnerability, shame, trust and empathy, we’ll familiarize ourselves with 3 game-changing practices that shift how we relate, cherish, and celebrate our bodies.
