Do you feel you’ve made progress establishing sobriety from sex addiction, but your relationship is still not where you hoped it might be? Is the recovery taking longer than expected? Do you and your partner want to gain traction and deepen the healing process as a team?
Our Intermediate Care Group explores the challenges of navigating sex addiction as a couple, with practical strategies to rebuild trust, to embrace intimacy, and to practice empathy and self-compassion. Using Dr. Brené Brown’s ground-breaking research on vulnerability, shame, courage and empathy, we’ll dive deep into:
The anatomy of trust
The 5 practices of empathy, and its importance in recovery
The 3 strategies of self-compassion and how they help us unshackle shame
Understanding the connection between vulnerability and intimacy, and how one enriches the other
Held in a safe and confidential environment, this psycho-educational group is open to individuals and couples. We cover challenging topics with care and transparency.
